Android devices vary by manufacturer, but there are some standard ways to capture your screen.
1. The Universal Method
On almost all modern Android phones:
- Press Power + Volume Down at the same time and release quickly.
2. Google Pixel Features
Swipe up from the bottom (Overview mode) and tap the Screenshot icon.
3. Samsung Galaxy “Palm Swipe”
Swipe the edge of your hand across the screen. Enable this in Settings > Advanced Features.
4. Scrolling Screenshots (Android 12+)
Look for the “Capture more” button in the preview to capture a whole webpage or long chat thread.
