Apple has changed the screen shot method over the years as iPhones lost their physical buttons. Here is how to do it on any model.
1. iPhone with Face ID (No Home Button)
Applies to: iPhone X through iPhone 16 series
- Press the Side Button and Volume Up simultaneously.
- Release them quickly.
2. iPhone with Home Button
Applies to: iPhone 8, 7, 6, and SE models
- Press the Side Button (or Top button) and the Home Button at the same time.
- Release them quickly.

- Go to Settings > Accessibility > Touch > Back Tap.
